Bruker acquires Middle for Tribology Today announced the closing of its acquisition of Center for Tribology Bruker Corporation, Inc. for $13 million in cash as an initial purchase price, with potential additional earn-out payments of up to $4 million in money, depending on profitability and development of the CETR-business inside Bruker in 2012 and 2013. CETR, a privately held tribology and mechanical testing organization headquartered in Campbell, CA, with 30 workers, has become a section of the Bruker Nano Areas division now, joining the existing AFM and SOM businesses cialisgenerique.org . Dr. Norm Gitis, the CEO and founder of CETR, has joined Bruker as Vice President and General Supervisor of the new Bruker Tribology & Mechanical Examining business.
